REGULAR LEAVING EVENT OF SUNDAY SCHOOL HELD AT UNION OF ARMENIANS IN RUSSIA

MOSCOW, JUNE 17, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. A regular, 6th leaving
event of Sunday school took place at the Union of Armenians in Russia.
According to miasin.ru, not only children of school age, but also the
elder generation learns Armenian language and culture at the Sunday
school. It was also mentioned that the young people love Armenian
language lessons.
Students, post-graduate students, who have appeared far from the
Homeland as fate willed, go to the school.
According to Karine Blbulian, Russian language teacher, Adviser on
Education of the Union of Armenians in Russia, they do not need the
Armenian language in their practical life, but they want not only
to speak, but also to write and read in their native tongue to be
full-value persons.
According to K. Blbulian, there are always students of other
nationalities attending Armenian language lessons, all of them take a
special interest in Armenia’s century-old history and Armenian culture.
