AVERAGE MONTHLY WAGES 13.4% UP IN ARMENIA JAN-MAY

YEREVAN, June 19. /ARKA/. The average monthly wages reached 97,527
AMD in Armenia this January-May – an annual rise of 13.4%.

The RA Statistical Service reports that the average monthly wages in
government-financed organizations reached 80,857 AMD – an annual rise
of 17.6%, and a fall of 0.7% this May against this April.

The average monthly wages in private organizations reached 121,990
AMD – an annual rise of 7.9% or5 a fall of 3.6% this May against
this April.

A fall of 2.2% in the average monthly wages was recorded this May as
compared with this April.
