TWO OF THE ACCUSED IN MARCH 1 EVENTS CASE WERE SET FREE RIGHT IN THE COURTROOM

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ In Kentron and Nork Marash regular court a trial
of Myasnik Malkhasyan and Hakob Hakobyan accused in March 1, 2008
events case was completed.

The Judge Armen Khatchatryan brought a verdict of non -guilty to
Myasnik Malkhasyan in accordance with part 2, article 316 of RA
Criminal Code (Resistance to authority representative while on service,
or forcing him to commit illegal actions with the use of violence or
threatening with violence).

At the same time, Myasnik Malkhasyan and Hakob Hakobyan were found
guilty in accordance with part 1 article 225 of RA Criminal Code
(Organization of mass disorders, aggravated with violence, pogroms,
arsons, property damage, use of firearms, explosives or armed
deforcement) which stipulates for 5 years of imprisonment. Yet, in
accordance with points 4 and 6 of June 19 RA NA Resolution on Amnesty,
the accused were set free right in the courtroom.

Myasnik Malkhasyan and Hakob Hakobyan were carried out of the courtroom
in the arms of triumphing friends and teammates.
