Baku – APA. "The normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations should
contribute to the strengthening of security in the region and should
not be irritable", said Russian Foreign Ministry’s CIS department chief
Andrey Kelin, APA reports quoting RIA-Novosty. He said Moscow welcomed
the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. "We consider it
important for Armenia to find a way out from the blockade. Armenian
is in the crossroad of communications".
Kelin noted that the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations
couldn’t be allowed to be contradictory to the solution to Nagorno
Karabakh conflict. "We consider that the question is about the two
complicate and parallel processes, which complete each other and have
certain relation".
The Russian foreign ministry official considers that the solution
to Nagorno Karabakh conflict could be a stabilizing factor in the
Caucasus.
