ISRAELI PRESIDENT COMES TO AZERBAIJAN WITH PEACE: MOUNTAIN JEWS COMMUNITY HEAD

Israeli President Shimon Peres will come to Azerbaijan with peace,
Mountain Jews Azerbaijan Community Head Semen Ikhilov said at a
conference National Security and Freedom of Consciousness.

"Peres is laureate of the Nobel Peace Prize and will come to Azerbaijan
with peace in an effort to help. He has never been enemy to Azerbaijan
and friend of Armenia. Israel was first to tell the world about the
tragedy that took place in Baku on January 20, 1990," Ikhilov said.

Israeli President Shimon Peres will arrive in Azerbaijan on June 28.

There were attempts to discuss so-called Armenian genocide in the
Israeli Knesset, he said. "Israel will never recognize the so-called
Armenian genocide," he said.

Unfortunately, some Azerbaijani public figures say Israel is enemy
to Azerbaijan. "This is wrong and this is not view that can be held
by intellectual people," Ikhilov said.
