/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Legitimacy of Iranian elections in questionable, US
President Barack Obama said. As mentioned by President, is impossible
to know what really happened in the country’s polling stations on
June 12, as international observers were denied entrance, and official
results give rise to many questions.

Earlier, Barack Obama expressed extreme dissatisfaction with Iranian
Government’s decision to use force against people protesting against
election results. Although US President said he had no intention to
interfere in another state’s domestic affairs, Washington experts
say his speech had this time more rigid than before.

Obama Administration’s balanced position on Iranian elections was
earlier criticized by Republican Senators, Associated Press reports

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
