MISSION OF THE "LUYS" FOUNDATION PRESENTED AT YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY

"Luys" Foundation has been established under the auspices of the
President of Armenia and addresses scientific-educational and cultural
issues. The educational program of the foundation is aimed at providing
talented young people in Armenia with an opportunity to study at the
best universities of the world.
Educational Program Director of the Foundation Jakline Karaslanyan
and member of the Board, Prime Minister Tigran Karapetyan met with
students of the Yerevan State University today to present the mission
of the foundation.
The foundation has two missions. First of all it aims to create
and unite a generation of advanced students and multiply the number
of Armenian students studying at the best foreign universities by
providing material and other assistance. Secondly, it intends to
create a network that will mobilize the knowledge and experience of
"Luys" students and will suggest programs to help step from educational
achievements to achievements in real life.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan informed that about 45 million AMD
would be allocated from the state budget.
