NKR TO CELEBRATE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF REOPENING ARTSAKH DIOCESE OF THE ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ On 24 June NKR President Bako Sahakyan convoked
a working consultation on activities of religious organization and
organizing events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of reopening
Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

Head of the desk for national minorities and religious issues of the
apparatus of the NKR Cabinet of Ministers Ashot Sargsyan delivered
a report.

The Head of the State emphasized the important role of the church in
developing our statehood and all spheres of social life.

Bako Sahakyan noted that jubilee events should grow into nationwide
celebrations.

Head of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church
Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, speaker of the National Assembly Ashot
Ghoulyan, premier Ara Haroutyunyan and other officials partook in
the consultation, Central Information Department of NKR President
Office reported.
