ArmInfo. Georgia and Armenia enjoy quite friendly relations, President
of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili says in an interview with the Armenian
Public Television.

He is sure that the phrase ‘official visit of Georgian president to
Armenia’ sounds false since the leadership of Georgia is in rather
close relations with the Armenian president. Armenia and Georgia are
very close to each other and connected with their fates. Saakashvili
said that during his visit to Armenia they will try to make these
relations more institutional. The Georgian president is going to
discuss the economic activity of Armenia and Georgia in conditions of
the global crisis as well as the possibilities of regional cooperation.

Today on June 24 Georgian President with spouse Sandra Roelofs will
arrive on official visit to Armenia. Mikhaeil Saakashvili is expected
to meet Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan vis-a-vis and Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan.
