YEREVAN, JUNE 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The anti-agitation carried out by
the Armenian authorities against the National Assembly Zharangutiun
(Heritage) faction calls forth a suspicion in faction member Larisa
Alaverdian of whether special elections are envisaged. The deputy
reported this at the June 26 meeting with journalists. She appreciated
the initiative carried out by her colleague, Armenian delegation
member Zaruhi Postanjian in PACE lately in Strasbourg. According to
L. Alaverdian, her colleague merely raised the issues that should
have been solved in Armenia.
