ARMENIA PM, GEORGIAN PRESIDENT DISCUSS THE PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF BILATERAL TIES

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Sargsyan, had a meeting
with the President of Georgia, Mikhail Saakashvili. Discussed were
issues related to the reinforcement of economic ties between the
two countries, deepening of cooperation in different spheres, the
perspectives of development of scientific-educational and cultural
ties.

The parties noted that the deepening of economic cooperation and the
implementation of joint projects would help mitigate the negative
influence of the global crisis on the economies of the two neighbor
countries.

The Armenian Prime Minister attached importance to the uninterrupted
work of the communication routes passing through Georgian territory,
noting that it was of great importance for our country.
