Luxembourg

On Tuesday 23 June, an agreement between Luxembourg and Armenia on
cooperation in the fields of culture, education, youth and science,
was signed by Octavia Modert, the Secretary of State for Culture and
by Viguen Tchitechian, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia.

The cultural agreement creates a joint commission to establish an
exchange program, exhibitions, artists and cultural actors and the
organisation of conferences of common interest. Opportunities for
cooperation and research projects between their respective scientific
institutions will also considered. This agreement is in addition to
the thirty bilateral cultural agreements that Luxembourg has already
agreed to.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
