RF PRESIDENT DMITRY MEDVEDEV CONGRATULATES SERZH SARGSYAN ON OCCASION OF HIS BIRTHDAY

YEREVAN, JUNE 30, NOYAN TAPAN. RF President Dmitry Medvedev
congratulated RA President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of his
birthday in a June 30 telephone conversation. D. Medvedev also
sent a congratulatory message to the RA President. The message,
in particular, read:

"As a responsible political figure you do much in the issue of
Armenia’s socio-economic development, rise of its authority on the
international arena. Russia appreciates your consistent steps in the
direction of strengthening strategic partnership between our countries,
expansion of cooperation in various spheres. I warmly remember the
recent meetings with you in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. As always,
they proceeded in a constructive atmosphere and atmosphere of
confidence and again confirmed that the Armenian-Russian relations
have a great future. I am sure that such a favorable atmosphere will
continue promoting expansion of political dialogue and cooperation
between Armenia and Russia for the sake of our countries and peoples
and peace and stability in the region."

According to the RA President’s Spokesperson, S. Sargsyan will mark
his birthday with his family and relatives. He also reported that
many congratulatory messages and good wishes have been received
on the occasion of President’s birthday from high-ranking state
and political, spiritual, public and cultural figures of Armenia,
Artsakh and Diaspora, intellectuals, individuals.
