NKR CONFLICT SETTLEMENT WILL ENTER A MORE ACTIVE PHASE AFTER 2012

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "NRK conflict settlement issue has been on RA
political forces’ agenda for over 20 years. A positive solution to this
issue will promote further strengthening of Armenia," RA Republican
Party Leader Galust Sahakyan told a news conference.

When questioned by PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, if RA Parliament
might accept opposition -initiated resolution on acknowledging the
independence of Karabakh along with 7 liberated regions, registered as
a security zone in NKR Constitution, Galust Sahakyan responded that
Armenia doesn’t need legal implementation of what actually belongs
to it. "Opposition forces pose issues they will not be able to bear
responsibility for," he noted.

Galust Sahakyan emphasized that the issue should be resolved
diplomatically, and expressed an opinion that NKR conflict settlement
will enter a more active phase after 2012. When asked if his forecast
are linked to the nest parliamentary elections, Sahakyan replied
that together with growing new generation of determined people,
our generation will give final answers to all questions.

"As to final NKR conflict resolution in 1994, it has only to be made
legally founded", he noted.
