THREE REPRESENTATIVES OF ARMENIAN DELEGATION TO THE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY OF THE FRANCOPHONIE (APF) DEPRIVED OF PARTICIPATIONIN APF SESSIONS

ArmInfo.The delegations headed by Armenian Parliamentary Speaker Hovik
Abrahamyan are not formed on the basis of the general regulations.

Therefore, the whole staff of the Armenian delegation to APF cannot
participate in the sessions of the Assembly.

The parliamentary press-service told ArmInfo Speaker H. Abrahamyan,
a member of the ARFD parliamentary faction Armen Rustamyan and a
representative of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction Armen Melikyan
will leave for France to participate in the APF session. A. Melikyan
will join the delegation in France. Earlier not finding his name in
the list of the delegates, Styopa Safaryan, a parliamentarian from
the opposition Heritage Party, a member of the delegation applied to
Speaker H. Abrahamyan for explanations.

The source reported that alongside with S. Safaryan, Ara babloyan (RPA
faction) and Hovhanness Margaryan (Orintats Yerkir) were not included
in the delegation that will leave for France on July 3. Armenia has
a status of observer at APF which does not provide for participation
of the full staff of the Armenian delegation in the APF sessions.
