Two Azerbaijani MPs are accompanying ambassador Polad Bulbuloglu
on his trip to the breakaway region of Nagornyy Karabakh today,
the independent news agency Turan has reported.
Turan quoted an unnamed informed source as saying that MPs Asim
Mollazada and Tahir Rzayev as well as the rector of the National Music
Academy, Siyavus Karimi, are visiting Karabakh along with Bulbuloglu.
In a separate report, Turan quoted the Azerbaijani ambassador to
Russia as saying that the visit was not aimed at "substituting"
the political process of the Nagornyy Karabakh settlement.
"We do not interfere in talks between the two countries’ presidents
and foreign ministers. We only give people a chance to communicate
with each other in a humanitarian context… The two nations have
to live together. Contacts need to be created in this format in the
future as well," Bulbuloglu told Turan.
