Ardshininvestbank Intends To Increase Turnover Of Private Transfers

ARDSHININVESTBANK INTENDS TO INCREASE TURNOVER OF PRIVATE TRANSFERS TO 180 MLN USD BY THE END OF 2009

ArmInfo. Ardshininvestbank ensures the dynamics of the turnover
of private money transfers planned for the current year by means
of various payment systems, Head of the Department of Private
Transfers Management of Ardshininvestbank Tigran Shahinyan told
ArmInfo correspondent.

According to him, though the volume of private transfers via the
bank decreased by 9,5% to $61.5 mln in the first half year of 2009,
nevertheless the number of money transfers grew by 16%. At the same
time, Shahinyan stressed that Ardshininvestbank is going to ensure $180
mln private transfers turnover as against $200 mln in 2008. "Usually
in the second half year the turnover of money transfers is twice
as much as the index of the first half year, therefore we hope that
we’ll manage to ensure the planned turnover by the end of the year",-
he said.

He added that at the moment Ardshininvestbank and Money Gram
money transfer system are holding a joint action till the late
August. Within the frames of the action, in September the 3 most active
clients having received a transfer via MoneyGram will make a trip to
Europe. Furthermore, the bank and Contact system will shortly launch
an action on decreasing commission fees when carrying out transfers
from Armenia from 3% to 2%.

Ardshininvestbank carries out money transfers via various international
payment systems, particularly, Contact, MoneyGram, Migom, Bystraya
Pochta, IntelExpress and Russian Promsvyzbank, Sotsgorbank, Forabank,
Sberbank. At present 80% of the total turnover of money transfers of
Ardshininvestbank falls on CIS, the rest – on the USA and Europe.
