RA MINISTRY OF DIASPORA RECEIVES 749 LETTERS DURING 2009 FIRST SIX MONTHS

YEREVAN, JULY 15, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. During the
first six months of 2009 the staff of the RA Ministry of Diaspora
received and registered 749 letters 78 of which were from Diasporan
Armenians. According to the secretariate of the Ministry staff, 501
letters within the competence of the Ministry of Diaspora were answered
by the constructive subdivisions of the Ministry staff and the 248,
according to their contents, were sent to the proper departments.

According to the Press and Public Relations Departement of RA Ministry
of Diaspora, questions regarding development of the Armenia-Diaspora
cooperation, pan-Armenian programs implemented by the Ministry
of Diaspora, preservation of the Armenian spirit and language
preservation, as well as different financial, social, domestic,
educational, health, legal problems were raised in the letters.
