Joe Strummer Tribute Night Goes Into Year 3

Revolution Rock, a Joe Strummer Tribute night will return for the
third year this September.

The tribute has turned into an annual event in Sydney.

Band’s gather to pay honour the work of the late Joe Strummer,
legendary guitarist with The Clash who died in December 2002.

This year King Cannons, Backy Skank, The Rumjacks and Topnovil will
perform.

All proceeds will go to Strummerville, the Joe Strummer Foundation for
New Music.

Strummerville raises money to create opportunities for young
musicians. It is a registered charity.

Revolution Rock, a Tribute To Joe Strummer will be held on September
19 in Sydney at The Hopetoun Hotel, Surry Hills.

was born John Graham Mellor in Ankara, Turkey and was of partial
Armenian, Jewish and Scottish descent. He was the co-founder, lead
singer and guitarist of the rock band The Clash.]
