ARS-WUSA REGIONAL EXECUTIVE ELECTS ITS 2009-2010 BOARD
The 89th Annual Regional Convention of the Armenian Relief Society (ARS) of
Western U.S.A. convened July 9 through 12, 2009, in Glendale. During its
first meeting, the newly elected Regional Executive, formed its board as
follows:
Sossie Poladian, Chair
Arous Melkonian, Vice-Chair
Rita Hintlian, Secretary
Maco Setrakian, Treasurer
Asdghig Chitilian, Annie Guiragossian, Sona Madarian, Vicky Kataroyan (from
Fresno), and Hasmig Kozanian (from Oakland) Advisers.
Sossie Poladian, Chair of the newly elected Regional Executive Board, said,
"As we get ready to celebrate the ARS Centennial, our board is delighted at
the challenges that we will face to serve our people in the Western USA
region and the homeland."
