/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Kingston announced a new device called the
DataTraveler 300 which packs in 256GB of storage space all in a slim
flash drive design. Actually, it’s storage capacity breaks records,
doubling the amount the closest competitor offers.
The new flash drive can hold approximately 10 Blu-ray movies and has
a speedy 20MB/s read and 10MB/s write speed. All in all, this little
gadget is pretty impressive, putting as much storage as a regular
hard drive in your pocket.
The DataTraveler 300 works with both PCs and Macs, though only
Windows-based computers can make use of the password software. You
can get the drive in the UK now for the equivalent of $900, but a US
release is likely in the near future.
As Aram Chopuryan, executive director of RAS Computers, the leading
importer of Kingston products in Armenia, told a PanARMENIAN.Net
reporter, the company’s price list doesn’t contain the novelty yet
but it will be possible to obtain the device through an advance order.
