VENEZUELA APPOINTS NEW AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA

The newly appointed Ambassador of Venezuela, Ugo Jose Garsia Ernandes,
presented his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.
Congratulating the diplomat on assuming office, President Sargsyan
expressed hope that during his tenure in office the Ambassador would
contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.
The interlocutors discussed the opportunities of cooperation between
Armenia and Venezuela in different spheres, expansion of the necessary
legal field.
The parties attached importance to the intensification of bilateral
cooperation within international organizations.
President Sargsyan welcomed the recognition of the Armenian Genocide
by the Parlaiemnt of Venezuella four years ago.
