REPRESENTATIVES OF INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS MEET WITH ARMENIAN-CAPTURED AZERBAIJANI SERVICEMEN

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Representatives of the International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia visited captives Rafig
Rahman Hasanov and Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, spokesperson for Azerbaijani
representation of ICRC Gulnaz Guliyeva told APA.
She said that the representatives of the ICRC monitored the detention
conditions of the captives and had one-on-one meetings with them.
ICRC representatives took a letter to Hasanov to deliver it to his
family. Anar Hajiyev did not send a letter to his family.
Representatives of ICRC in Berde met with Hasanov’s family, handed
his letter to his family and took a letter from his family. They gave
information about the meeting with Anar Hajiyev to his family.
Soldier of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s military unit, Rafig Rahman
Hasanov, 20, was captured by Armenian servicemen in Gazakh on October
8, 2008.
Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, 19, was drafted from Goranboy region. He was
captured by Armenian armed forces at 9.45 on May 10.
