SERBIAN REPUBLIC INTERESTED IN FURTHER FORTIFICATION AND DEEPENING OF THE MULTILATERAL COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA

YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian met today the Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Vuk Jeremic
who is in the official delegation accompanying the Serbian President
in his visit to Armenia.

Media relations department of Armenian Foreign Ministry told Armenpress
that during the meeting the Foreign Ministers of the two states in
details discussed a wide range of issues connected with the further
enhancement of Armenian-Serbian relations, particularly formation of
the legal-agreement field, conduction of consultations between the
foreign ministries, cooperation in the international organizations,
activation of economic cooperation and cultural exchanges.

V. Jeremic noted that the official visit of the Serbian President
to Armenia on the Invitation of Serzh Sargsian turns a new leaf in
the bilateral relations which proves that the Serbian republic is
interested in further fortification and deepening of the multilateral
cooperation with Armenia.

Ministers E. Nalbandian and V Jeremic continued the dialogue which
kicked off in Madrid in June this year round the latest developments
in Caucasus and Balkans and a number of regional and international
issues of bilateral interest.

Vuk Jeremic invited Edward Nalbandian to visit Belgrade to continue
the practical dialogue towards the development of bilateral relations
on the assignment of the Armenian and Serbian Presidents.
