SERBIAN FOREIGN MINISTER: WE ARE INTERESTED IN PROMOTION OF VERSATILE COOPERATION WITH ARMENIA

ArmInfo. Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received his
Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic on Wednesday. The Serbian minister
arrived in Armenia in the delegation headed by the Serbian president.
The Armenian Foreign Ministry press-service reported the parties as
dwelling upon a broad spectrum of issues related to promotion of
Armenian-Serbian relations, in particular, intensification of the
contractual basis formation, consultations between the two countries’
foreign ministries, cooperation at international organizations,
as well as economic and cultural exchange. Serbian foreign minister
said the visit of the Serbian president to Armenia opens a new page
in the history of the bilateral relations and shows Serbia’s interest
in promotion of versatile cooperation with Armenia.
The two ministers continued the dialogue launched in June 2009 in
Madrid on the processes in the Caucasus and the Balkans, and on the
regional and international issues of mutual interest. Vuk Jeremic
invited Edward Nalbandian to Belgrade to continue the practical
dialogue aimed at development of the bilateral relations.
