It was due to the Armenian leaders’ most active support that most
serious decisions were made and arrangements held within the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), CSTO Secretary General Nikolay
Bordyuzha stated during a Moscow-Yerevan space bridge on the results
of the informal CSTO Summit in Kyrgyzstan.
"As CSTO chairing country Armenia has been acting as locomotive of
the CSTO’s development. It was during Armenia’s chairmanship that most
serious documents forming Collective rapid reaction forces were agreed
on and eventually signed by most of the member-states," Bordyuzha said.
According to him, as CSTO chairing country, Armenia most vividly
demonstrated its position on integration. "I can do nothing but express
my satisfaction with Armenia’s position and the Armenian leaders’
approaches to the participation in the CSTO," Bordyuzha said.
