NO CORRUPTION AT OUR UNIVERSITY

There are around 3000 students studying in the state university of
Gavar of which 60% are from Gegharqunik region, 40% Yerevan and other
regions of the Republic.
During our visit we witnessed how the young citizens of Yerevan every
day or at least periodically leave for Gavar to study.
To the question why the students from Yerevan refuse all the higher
educational institutions that are so close to them and pass such
a long way to get education in Gavar one of the students answered
"the education in Gavar is much available".
I asked the same question to Ruzanna Hakobyan, the rector of Gavar
University: "There is no corruption in our university", – she answered
quickly.
By her words there are students not only from Yerevan, but also from
Lori, Syunik, Vayoc Zor.
Coming up to the problems of the University the rector mentioned:
"We have two problems; to provide a quality in education and to do
everything for the students."
R. Hakobyan informed that in the State University of Gavar by the
support of VivaCell MTS Company is foreseen fastening of computer
base, stirring up of technological environment and establishment of
electronic libraries.
