SOCIAL PROBLEMS OF THE ARMENIAN AND AZERBAIJANI YOUTH IN FILMS

DOTCOM is one of the programs of PH International organizations. It
is financed by the department of education and cultural affairs of
USA state department.
10 Armenian pupils had left for USA to take part in 3 weeks summer
program. Few days ago they have returned to Armenia.
As the DOTCOM informed the program joins American, Armenian and
Azerbaijani students "to find their own voice, to create their own
media world and having their influence in media."
In the US Vermont State the Armenian young people have met their
colleagues from the USA and Azerbaijan, have worked over their 10
short-length films. The films give information about such kind
of social world problems as gender problems, children’s rights,
media, etc.
The program will continue with the mutual visit of 10 American pupils
to Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2010 for summing up their works with
their DOTCOM friends.
