/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Open Cinema short film festival organized in
St. Petersburg is this year dedicated to Sergey Parajanov. Film forum
will be held in the House of Cinema and Petropavlovsk Castle. The
latter hosted a unique exhibition, displaying items brought from
Yerevan museum.

The halls of Engineers’ House of Petropavlovsk Castle were overcrowded
with visitors participating in the opening of the exhibition titled
"Sergey Parajanpv’s World". The event was attended by art critics,
visitors of modern vernisages and Armenian Diaspora representatives
from St. Petersburg.

Parajanov’s collages are often reproductions of great painters’
works ornamented by feathers, shells and even watch mechanisms.

Unfortunately, the original copies of collages were not brought to
Yerevan. Exhibited items were restricted to their photos and great
director’s portraits, vesti.ru reports.
