Two Armenian Athletes To Participate In World Championship

TWO ARMENIAN ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE IN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian athletes Melik Djanoyan and Ani Khachikyan
will represent Armenia in the 12th World Championship in Athletics,
due in Berline, Germany on August 15-23, 2009. On July 26, Melik
Djanoyan arrived in Germany together with his father and coach,
Armenian national team’s chief coach Misha Hayrapetryan told a
PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent.

"Since July 26, Melik Janoyan has been conducting a training session
in Berlin under the supervision of his father. Ani Khachikyan and
her coach are to leave for German capital on August 11. We do not
anticipate high awards, but we do hope our sportsmen will have better
results in comparison with previous competitions," Hayrapeyan noted.

Melik Djanoyan will take part in javelin throw discipline and Ani
Khachikyan – in the 100m. race.
