LARGE-SCALE MANEUVERS IN ARMENIA

Armenian peacekeepers arranged 6-day military exercises at the
educational center after marshal Baghrmyan. RA Defense Minister
Seyran Ohanyan, NATO representatives and other observers followed
the maneuvers. It is the third day of large-scale maneuvers in Armenia.

Colonel Artur Simonyan, the commander of peacekeeping brigade at
the Defense Ministry, said that such maneuvers are conducted for the
first time. Special mission units, peacekeeping forces and aviation
participate. The maneuvers will last 6 days. Nearly 900 soldiers and
officers of Armenian army will take part in the maneuvers.
