LEVON ARONIAN IS IN JERMUK INTERNATIONAL LEADING GROUP

YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, NOYAN TAPAN. The 3rd stage meetings took place
at the Jermuk Grand Prix International Tournament on August 11. Levon
Aronian (Armenia) played a drawn game with Ivan Cheparinov (Bulgaria),
and Vladimir Hakobian (Armenia) with Gata Kamsky (U.S.). Only Yevgeni
Alekseyev (Russia) – Irnesto Inarkiev (Russia) game had an effective
end.

Levon Aronian, Peter Leko (Hungary) and Ivan Cheparinov are leaders,
having each of them 2 points after three stages. Vladimir Hakobian and
other 8 chess players have 1.5 points each. Aronian will compete at
the 4th stage scheduled for August 12 with Gata Kamsky and Hakobian
will compete with Rustam Kasimjanov (Uzbekistan).
