Armenian economy ministry denies rumors its website was broken by
hackers
YEREVAN, August 15. /ARKA/. The Ministry of Economy of Armenia denied
the information that its official website has been broken by
Azerbaijani hackers.
On August 13 President of Smart Systems company Stepan Aslanyan told
reporters the site of Economy Ministry in line with other official
sites was broken by Azerbaijani hackers on Friday and had not been
recovered that day.
`We announce that the site of the Armenian Economy Ministry has not
been attacked by hackers, namely Azerbaijani ones, and has not been
broken. All information placed on the site is unchanged,’ the
press-service of the Ministry told `Novosti-Armenia’.
At the same time the press-service reports that on August 14, the site
was unavailable for some two hours due to technical
reasons which were debugged in a short period by the Ministry’s experts.
`The defects could not have any negative influence on users. The
official website of the RA Ministry of Economy is available,’ was
