FINAL ROUND OF UEFA CUP TO BE DECISIVE FOR EREBUNI

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ In the second group match of match UEFA’s preliminary
round, Armenia’s futsal champion Erebuni team evened the score with
ASA club (3:3). In the first matches, Erebuni beat Olstars 3:2 while
ASA defeated Iceland’s Khvet 5:2.
The match start proved extremely unsuccessful for Armenian team. At
the 3rd minute, Israeli player Li Goldberg beat a double goal, thus
making the score 2:0.
In the second half of the first time, Armenian players won back
two goals. Aram Kasoyan and Hakob Uzunyan evened the score beating
goals at the 12th and 14th minute respectively. At the 34th minute,
ASA was again in leading position, thanks to team’s player Yehoda
Tsisman. Armen Gyulambaryan’s return goal which followed a minute
later again evened the score.
Thus, after two rounds, Erebuni and ASA earned 4 points. As to Israeli
team, it ranks as second in tournament list.
In another F group match, Austria’s Olstars beat Iceland’s Khvet 5:4.
In the final round due on August 22, Erebuni will play with Khvet, and
ASA will compete against Olstars, F. group tournament’s hosting team.
To qualify for main round, Armenian team needs victory with high
score. Although considering drawn match between Austrian and Israeli
teams, any victory is enough. But such likelihood is very little.
