RUSSIA TO EXPORT TU-204 AIRLINERS TO IRAN

Russia has "a confirmed order" from Iran for five Tupolev Tu-204
medium-range airliners and "an option for 30" such aircraft to be
supplied to that country, the president of Russia’s United Aircraft
Corporation, Alexei Fyodorov, said on Thursday.

"Iran needs several times as many Tu-204 aircraft," Fyodorov told
reporters at the MAKS 2009 international aerospace show in Zhukovsky,
Interfax reported.
