VivaCell-MTS launch Don’t Talk and Drive campaign

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ On August 27 VivaCell-MTS launched its `Don’t Talk
and Drive’ campaign aimed at increasing the road safety awareness of
mobile service users in Armenia.

Though it may seem strange a mobile operator calls subscribers to keep
back from using phones while driving, VivaCell-MTS is ready to concede
some revenue for the safety of Armenians. According to recent
statistics the number of road accidents as a result of talking over
the phone or sending/receiving messages while driving is continuously
growing. And as a corporate citizen, VivaCell-MTS feels responsible
for raising the awareness in the Armenian society on this vital issue.

During the campaign drivers will be reminded not to use mobile phones
while driving via billboard advertising both on the roads of Yerevan
and on the main highways entering the city.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
