/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The Armenian-Swedish cooperation has positive impact
on Armenia’s labor market, according to the republic’s Labor Minister
Gevorg Petrosyan.

"We welcome the cooperation which helps development of efficient
strategy and resolution of employment problems," he said.

Unemployment in Armenia makes some 6.8%. Due to the anti-crisis
measures undertaken by the government of Armenia, this figure has
not increased.

"The problem is the lack of vacancies for our specialists. Presently,
the government is focused on the employment policy which will prevent
increase in unemployment rate by the end of 2009," Minister Petrosyan
said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
