YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Special Investigation
Service has finished the preliminary investigation of the criminal
case against four policemen advocating violence against the citizens
on March 1, 2008 in the Republican Square and Mashtots Avenue.
Press service of the Armenian Chief Prosecutor’s office told Armenpress
that based on the gained evidences policemen of the department of
the town of Yerevan of the RA Police G. Harutyunian and H. Ghukasian
have been accused according to the point 2 of the Article 309 of the
RA Criminal Code.
Policemen of the Department of the town of Yerevan A. Manoukian
and G. Grigorian have been accused of advocating violence against 2
citizens near the market on Mashtots avenue.
The criminal case has been sent to the Court of First Instance of
the Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash communities.
The videos which have served abase for accusation have also been
attached to the criminal case.
