YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, NOYAN TAPAN. At the September 3 sitting, Prime
Minister Tigran Sargsyan gave two instructions to the RA Ministry of
Urban Development. According to the first instriction, the ministry
must annouce a tender soon for constructing a new building for Pokr
Mher education complex.
"Pokr Mher is a good example for creating an opportunity of patriotic
upbringing so it is important to assist with the extension of the area
of this education complex," the prime minister said, adding that the
experts of the Ministry of Urban Development visited the complex and
examined the possibilities of its extension. The design with the best
architectural solution will be selected at the tender to be held, and
it will be implemented with money attracted from donor organizations.
The second instruction was related to the tender for compiling
a catalogue of standard dwelling house designs approved by the
state. "There are many eclectic private houses in Armenia. In every
village, you can see houses built without any design or estimates,
based on the ideas and within the limits of financial resources of
their owners, which can be explained by the fact that very often our
citizens save their money, especially in rural areas. They have no
money to order designs. Later these people encounter serious problems,
have to go through the red tape and deal with various problems
related to the authorization process, security issues, etc. that
arise in this connection," the prime minister said. In his words,
there is a necessity to have a catalogue of state-approved standard
dwelling houses’ designs in Armenia.
The designs of such houses will be approved by the Armenian government,
and if a citizen chooses one of these standard designs, it will be
admitted from the very first that all the expert exminations have
been made, which will allow to reduce the red tape to a minimum.
