NEW APPOINTMENTS IN THE WESTERN DIOCESE

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, has recently made
the following appointments for several Parishes, Mission Parishes as
well as Diocesan Administrative Divisions:
The Very Rev. Fr. Dajad Dz. V. Yardemian, Vicar General, has been
appointed to oversee the Armenian Churches of Ventura County and Santa
Barbara. Dn. Raz-Remi-Razmik Sarkissian will serve as Deacon-In-Charge
for aforementioned parishes,
Rev. Archpriest Fr. Sipan Mekhsian, Chancellor, has been appointed
as the Visiting Priest for the Armenian Church of Salt Lake City, Utah,
Rev. Fr. Serop Azarian, Pastor of the Armenian Church of Las Vegas,
has been appointed as the Visiting Priest for the Armenian Church
of Victorville,
Burbank Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan has been appointed
as the Grand Sacristan of the Cathedral, Rev. Fr. Avedis Abovian,
Youth Director of the Western Diocese, has been appointed as the
Visiting Priest for the Armenian Churches of Northern Sierra Region,
including, South Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Reno, as well as Boise,
Idaho, and Hawaii,
Dn. Hagop Iskenian has been appointed as the Deacon-In-Charge of
Sts. Sahag-Mesrob Armenian Church in Reedley, Holy Cross Armenian
Church in Turlock (Central Valley) and California Home in Fresno,
under the supervision of Rev. Archpriest Fr. Yeghia Hairabedian,
Regional Vicar,
Dn. Hovnan Vartanyan has been appointed as the Deacon-In-Charge of
the Armenian Churches of La Verne and Antelope Valley (Palmdale)
and Parish Priest Assistant at St. Sarkis Armenian Church of North
Hollywood, Mr. Vahe Sargsyan has been appointed as Director of the
Sunday School Program of the Western Diocese and Diocesan T.V. Program.
