RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR HANDED

On September 4, the newly appointed ambassador of the Russian
Federation to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko handed credentials to Serge
Sargsyan.

Sargsyan stated that Russia is the strategical partner of Armenia as
well as the main economic partner which is the reason he attached
special importance to the activities of the ambassador in Armenia.

Vyacheslav Kovalenko in turn said he would do his best to boost the
Armenian and Russian cooperation. The diplomat noted that he already
has certain ideas and projects to improve the traditional Armenian and
Russian cooperation.
