/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Speaking in today’s press conference, claimant
Anahit Manasyan informed journalists that in 2000, when she was
entering French University, Faculty of Marketing and Commerce, she
was told that graduates would be granted diplomas complying with the
state standards of Armenia and France within the frames of Bologna
Process. As a result, Manasyan received, two diplomas. Apart from
Armenian state diploma she was also granted DESFA standard diploma
which proved to have no legal force in France.
In that connection, Anahit Manasyan lodged a claim against French
University, demanding a higher education diploma with full legal
effect.
Since French university is a branch of Lyons 3 French university,
the latter demanded explanation from several Armenian state agencies,
including Education Ministry and Ombudsman’s Office, but didn’t
receive any response.
Answering a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent’s question, the claimant that
said none of those aggrieved had filed suit against the university
and called on all of them to defend their rights in court. Manasyan
also promised to cover all their court expenses.
Hearing is scheduled tomorrow in the general jurisdiction court of
