LEVON ARONIAN BEATS ALEXANDER SHIROV

In the third round of chess "Big Helmet" tournament ongoing in
Spanish Bilbao town grand master Levon Aronian with white figures
beat Alexander Shirov representing Spain and gaining 6 points shares
the 1-2 places together with Russian Alexander Grishchuk.

Sergey Karyakin from Russia, who beat Alexander Grishchuk in this
round, is with 4 points in the third place. A. Shirov is in the last
fourth place with one point.

In the previous round L. Aronian beat S. Karyakin. In this tournament
the calculation of scores differs from FIDE traditional calculation;
for victory 3 points are granted, and for draw – 1 point instead, 0.5.
