ARMENIA TO HOST SEMINAR ON WORKING WITH BLIND PEOPLE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "Ari Ari" Polish foundation in collaboration with
the "Save the Animals" organization and the Alumni Association of the
Lane Kirklad scholarship program organize training for professionals
working with blind and poorly sighted people in Armenia. The program
is called "Eyes Wide Shut". Seminars will be held between September
10 to 20 of 2009.

Special lectures will also be held in schools, where specialists
in canine tell about the assistance of guide dogs in the lives of
blind people. A series of trainings and lectures with members of the
musical ensemble of the Armenia’s Association of Blind will also be
held. The need to supply with transport and equipment adapted for the
disabled and blind people, to create conditions for their natural
activities and livelihoods, as well as the promotion of the Louis
Braille alphabet in Armenia will be discussed during the workshops.
