PRIME MINISTER OF ARMENIA RECEIVES WELL-KNOWN BRAZILIAN ACTOR OF ARMENIAN ORIGIN

ArmInfo. Today, Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan received
a well-known Brazilian actor of Armenian origin, deputy Chairman
of the Council of Elders of Rio de Janeiro Stepan Nersesyan who has
visited our country for the first time, the governmental press service
told ArmInfo.

T. Sarkisyan highly appreciated S. Nersesyan’s activity as an actor and
politician and said that Armenia attaches importance to development
of cooperation with Brazil where the Armenian community plays a
significant part. In its turn, Nersesyan expressed confidence that
his visit to Armenia will attach a new impulse to his activity aimed
at activation of the Armenian-Brazilian relations. During the meeting,
the parties discussed the issues of tightening of the relations between
Armenia and Diaspora, as well as the Armenian-Brazilian cooperation
in art and culture. The actor was accompanied by Ambassador of Brazil
to Armenia Marcela Maria Nikodemos.
