Alexei Shirov in the 5th round of Grand Slam Final Chess Masters 2009
in Bilbao. Gaining 12 points, he outstripped Russia’s Alexander
Grischuk, who made a draw with Ukrainian grandmaster Sergey Karjakin.

In the 6th round, Aronian will play vs. Karjakin.
