ties.

It is not accidental that I have launched a cycle of visits to the
subjects of the Russian Federation. They have big potential for
development of Armenian-Russian economic ties. From this viewpoint,
it is very important for Ulyanovsk region of Russia and Shirak region
of Armenia to cooperate.

Development of Shirak region is a priority for the Government of
Armenia," the president said.

The sides outlined the prospects of cooperation and came out for
comparison of the existing economic potential. They discussed the
possible directions of activity and specific programs in various
sectors. Sergey Morozov said Ulyanovsk has over 15,000 Armenian
residents that have greatly contributed to social and economic
development of the region as well as enrichment of culture life. He

built in the region next year and educational programs will be

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
