Turkish State Minister and Deputy Premier Cemil Cicek said on Friday
that no development or process was more important than Turkey’s
brotherhood with Azerbaijan.

Cicek, who is currently in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku to attend
a meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Ministers of
Emergency Situations, replied to questions of Azerbaijani reporters.

Commenting on the normalization process of Turkish-Armenian relations,
Cicek said," No development or process in this region is more important
than our brotherhood with Azerbaijan. We would like to underscore
this fact hundreds of times".

Cicek said that Turkey’s efforts to normalize its relations with
Armenia contributed to the solution of Azerbaijan’s problems as well.

The Turkish minister also said that the unjust invasion in Azerbaijan,
which had been going on for 17 years, should be terminated.
