WE SHALL TAKE CONCERTED ACTION

On September 16 the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on European
Integration of RA National Assembly Mrs. Naira Zohrabyan met with
the Foreign Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) Georgy
Petrosyan.

The main theme of the meeting was the Karabakh problem and the work
to be done in that direction by the Armenian parliamentary delegation
in PACE autumn session. Both sides expressed conviction that at the
present phase of the international and regional developments more
than ever it is necessary to concentrate the forces and take concerted
action in the international structures. We shall be able to present to
the international community the procedure of democratic reforms being
made in NKR and give reasons for the fair right of its people to live
on its historical land in accordance with international norms. Those
steps must not be disordered but purposeful and consistent.
