It said the goal of the national strategy of transport security is
to ensure a high level safety of passenger and cargo transportations,
to raise the reliability of new regional transport infrastructure as
well as to form a transport security system in line with international
standards.

The development and approval of this strategy is spelled out by
Armenia’s National Security Strategy and Armenia-EU partnership

political and economic significance in view of the latest regional
developments and construction of a highway and a railway from Armenia
to Iran.

The participants of the Tuesday meeting decided to submit a draft
strategy to the National Security Council of Armenia in March. Then,
in accordance with Armenia-EU cooperation program, Armenia will get
